JOB DESCRIPTION You'll enjoy working outdoors and meeting people and have a professional and positive attitude. As a Delivery Post person, you will start the day by collecting pre-sorted mail in order for it to be delivered. The average delivery walk lasts approximately 3 and a half hours and each day you will have to deliver multiple bags (approximately 6-8 mail bags ). which can each weigh up to 16kg. You will work in all weathers delivering the mail either on foot, by cycle or in a shared van. When driving, you'll collect mail from Post Office branches, businesses and post-boxes, transporting it to mail centres and delivery offices. You must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. JOB DESCRIPTION The candidate will need to demonstrate an ability and desire to sell to potential clients. They must have excellent communication skills and have a high degree of self motivation. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. Main duties will consist of establishing customer contact and identifying sales opportunities. Accurate data management and follow up of sales leads with the prime objective of closing sales. Developing new and current client relationships via telephone and e-mail. Identifying new business opportunities and attaining specific targets is essential. The candidate must have good communication skills, PC literate and be totally customer focused.
