JOB DESCRIPTION Part time Kitchen Assistant required for three days per week on a temporary ongoing basis. You will assist the chef in the kitchen, taking food trolleys to service users, ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times and all other associated duties as required. JOB DESCRIPTION Skills required: An awareness of hygiene regulations and good practices, previous experience in a similar role is required. Desirable qualifications: Food hygiene certificate. Duties include: Keeping the working area clean and tidy, food preparation, ensuring stock levels are maintained, monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food produced in the kitchen; making sure the kitchen works within relevant hygiene, health and safety guidelines. Additionally we are also looking for trainees as well as fully experienced chefs and we have the facility to fully train new chefs including college sponsorship for any age group. We require Head Chefs, Commis Chefs, Chef de Partie, Head Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Pastry Chef. To work within a busy restaurant and or banqueting environment.
