JOB DESCRIPTION You will work one to one with our residents within Registered Care to provide person centred care and support, with a focus on maximising independent living skills. This includes providing personal care and support with domestic tasks as required. With clear communication skills you should be flexible and calm in the way in which you approach your work. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs and rights of older people gained through previous employment, voluntary work or life experience. An SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, would be advantageous though you must be able to meet the requirements of the SSSC within regulatory timescales. Hours of employment are 18 per week organised over 3 days on a shift rota basis which will include evenings and weekends.
