JOB DESCRIPTION A 16 year old man with partial hearing and an assessed mental age of 7-8 years would like to recruit a support worker to help him to develop skills such as cooking and general life skills and to take part in activities such as bowling and arts and crafts. The client has occasional epileptic seizures and full training around this will be given. Public transport will be used when outside the home and the worker will need to support and encourage the client to use this. Hours of work are normally 4 per week at weekends but some hours may be banked for use at other mutually agreed times. The position is subject to a satisfactory enhanced CRB disclosure, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
